Socially conscious creator in the fields of dance and visual art.  She is an instructor, director, and choreographer based in Rochester, NY. She is a graduate of School of the Arts and frequently instructs Jazz and Modern dance within the department. She obtained her Undergraduate degree from the illustrious, Howard University. In D.C., she continued her training, choreography, and began her journey with visual arts. Her work focuses on social psychological themes through Afro-Contemporary movement. Ms. Meshawn challenges herself to explore more nuances with her work, as an advocate and proponent of liberty.
